Heavy wide collegiate slabs with hard clipped bowls
Baseball School shows solid dark capitals on cream, where broad slab feet and sharply chamfered B, S and O curves create an athletic silhouette and small counters keep the heavy title dense rather than airy.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The slabs stay wide, the bowls clip at a hard angle, the counters close small and both rows stay straight rather than arched. That chamfer is the character: the lettering reads as a team uniform block rather than a soft varsity face, which is why the sample groups two even rows. The stars, red rules and shadows are cover composition, so keep fixtures and safety lines in a separate readable face and give the heavy words a wide measure. The clipped bowls are the risk in a small size: the counters of the A and the R close at about 30 pt and the row reads as a solid bar, so keep this face for the big word only.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Baseball School’s stroke geometry.
The chamfered slabs suit a team jersey, and the dense blocks hold a two-row name at 80 mm on a printed transfer, where the clipped bowls read as a cut rather than a fault.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 260 mm transfer: set the team name at 80 mm over two rows, keep 14 mm between them, and keep 18 mm of clear edge so the clipped bowls stay whole.
Pre-production check
Chamfered corners printed under 40 mm read as damage; check the transfer proof at half size.
The athletic slabs set a party banner, and the heavy rows hold a name and an age at 54 pt on an A3 sheet, spaced far enough apart to stay two clear blocks.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A3 banner: set the name at 54 pt on the first row and the age at 54 pt on a second row, keep 18 mm of clear ground between the rows, and keep 20 mm of margin all round.
Pre-production check
Two dense rows set flush form one dark block; check the banner and keep a clear gap between them.
The wide slabs set a sports heading, and the clipped bowls hold a two-word title at 50 pt across a page, with the results kept in a lighter face beneath it.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 210 mm page: set the heading at 50 pt on one row, keep 18 mm beneath before the standfirst at 10 pt, and keep fixtures in a separate sans block below the heading.
Pre-production check
Dense slabs used for a results table turn into a wall of ink; check the page and keep body figures in a lighter face.
