Embroidery is a bouncy modern calligraphy script with thick shaded downstrokes, hairline exits and tall looped ascenders on the b and d, opening with a wide curled E. The baseline rises and falls across a word, which gives it the handmade warmth of lettering done with a brush pen, and the deep y loop pulls the eye to the end of a phrase. Contrast is strong, so it needs about 18 mm before the hairlines hold in print, and it belongs to headings, hoops and cards; setting a paragraph in it would lose the shading that gives it life.

A shaded script carries warmth in a winter context without needing snowflake decoration, which separates a Christmas note from the seasonal graphics on every shelf. Deep descender loops balance against a short greeting on a small tag.

Pre-production check
Small hoops are backed with felt and the fabric is pulled tight, distorting printed or stitched lettering by a few percent. Compensate by keeping 5 mm of tolerance inside the ring, and check one finished ornament against a circle template.
