Visual anatomy & craft review
Embroidery by Nuhatype is a chunky uppercase display sans in which the O is cut as a heart-shaped counter, with stout tapered blocks and wide open spacing, so a word reads as a soft embroidered badge rather than a geometric sans. The heart counter is the signature, which means the face must be large enough for the heart to be unmistakable, and the tapered blocks give it a stitched softness. It needs roughly 24 mm for the heart to read as a shape, and it is best in bubblegum pink or cream on a pastel ground.

A heart-counter O turns a plain word into a valentine without any extra ornament, which is what a small gift note needs. The chunky blocks print in one pink on cream, and the heart survives a 40 mm sticker because it is cut as a full counter rather than a line.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 105 x 148 mm, greeting 22 mm, message 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Tag 45 x 80 mm, word 9 mm with a 4 mm hole and 6 mm clear card. Sticker 50 mm round, word 10 mm, 3 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
A 9 mm tag word shrinks the heart counter to a dot and the signature disappears into a plain O. Keep the word at 12 mm wherever a heart is expected, and check one printed tag before the batch.
Soft chunky caps with a heart read as a warm children's party, which is what a family birthday sends. The wide spacing cuts cleanly at 45 mm as a topper, and one pastel ink covers the invite, the label and the bunting in a single pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, word 40 mm, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 45 mm with an 8 mm slot and 10 mm clear. Label 60 x 90 mm, word 14 mm, 4 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
A laser-cut topper drops the heart counter as a loose piece and it falls out of the cake. Add a 2 mm bridge across the heart point on the cut file, and cut one prototype before the batch.
A heart counter gives a small confection brand a mark that lives inside the type, which is cheaper than a logo and works at any size. The stout blocks hold on a 60 mm label in one colour, and the wide spacing keeps a long brand name readable across a tote.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Label 60 x 40 mm, word 9 mm, weight 4.5 pt, 3 mm die margin. Carton 200 x 150 x 80 mm, word 40 mm on the lid, 20 mm margins. Tote print 300 x 300 mm, word 70 mm, 60 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A woven tote print loses a 2 mm heart counter in the weave and the O becomes a solid block. Use a printed patch for totes, and check one sewn sample before the order.
