Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Del Carna is a multi-colour fiesta display with bouncy flared wedge serifs and painted folk-stripe texture inside the strokes, so a word looks lettered onto a woven blanket rather than printed flat. The letters are wide and slightly dancing, the wedges are sharp, and the palette is per glyph, which makes the face a graphic object rather than a recolourable typeface. It needs roughly 25 mm for the stripes to read as painted texture, and it is at its best on a warm sand ground with two or three saturated inks.

Painted stripes read as a woven banner, which suits a folk market better than a clean sans. The dancing baseline keeps a long stall name lively at 60 mm.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Banner 2000 x 600 mm, word 320 mm, 120 mm margins, eyelets every 500 mm. Crate 400 x 200 mm, word 80 mm, 25 mm margins. Flyer A5, word 110 mm, details 9/12 pt.
Pre-production check
Banner mesh printing breaks a fine stripe into a dotted tone and the texture disappears. Print on solid vinyl, and check one hung banner from ten metres before the event.
Flared wedges and stripes set a festive theme in one word, which a family party can carry without props. Heavy forms cut cleanly as banner letters at 120 mm.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, name 18 mm, details 4.5 mm, 10 mm margins. Topper 150 x 120 mm, name 50 mm, 8 mm stick slot. Banner letters 120 mm on 2 mm card, 5 mm hole, 30 mm margins.
Pre-production check
Hand-cut banner letters follow the flared wedges poorly and the points tear. Die-cut the set, and print a faint cut guide on the reverse for a home machine.
Painted stripes read as hand-dyed cloth, which is what a folk-textile seller is selling. The face holds a short maker name at 14 mm on a tag.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Label 70 x 50 mm, word 14 mm, 4 mm die margin. Tag 50 x 90 mm, word 12 mm, hole 5 mm clear and 3 mm trim. Card 105 x 148 mm, heading 18 mm, details 7/10 pt on a 5 mm leading, 12 mm margins.
Pre-production check
Woven hangtags reduce a stripe under 1 mm to a single yarn and the texture vanishes. Request a woven proof at 1:1, and move that tag to a printed label if the stripes break up.
