Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Crumbs is an ultra-heavy retro condensed impact sans: near-solid condensed letters with very tight counters, a flat terminal and a weight that reads as a printed headline from a letterpress block. The counters are reduced to slots and they close first, and the condensation packs a long word into a narrow measure. It needs roughly 26 mm for the slot and the terminal to read, and it is best in one dense ink on uncoated stock, or a single ink with a slight deboss where the block edge catches light.

An ultra-heavy condensed sans reads as a letterpress block rather than a modern logo. The slots hold at 30 mm on a box, and one ink prints the box and the cards in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Box print 200 x 150 mm, word 50 mm with 8 mm slot clearance, 12 mm margins. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 18 mm, 5 mm margins. Label 90 x 60 mm, word 24 mm, 5 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
A 90 x 60 mm label at 24 mm closes the slots and the name reads as a solid tile. Raise the label word to 32 mm, and check one label on the product before the run.
An impact sans turns a magazine cover into a printed block headline. The slots hold at 84 pt on a coated cover, and one ink keeps the tight counters open against a photograph.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cover 210 x 297 mm, title 84 pt with 12 mm slot clearance, cover lines 10/14 pt over two columns of 82 mm, 18 mm margins and a 12 mm head. Opener 60 pt. Section head 30 pt.
Pre-production check
At 30 pt on the section head the slots fill and the head reads as a solid bar. Keep the face at 48 pt and above, and proof one spread at 1:1.
An impact sans carries a stall name across a crowded hall where a light face would vanish. The slabs hold at 100 mm on a board, and one ink prints the board and the price cards in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Board 600 x 900 mm, word 100 mm with 12 mm slot clearance, items 26 mm, 30 mm margins. Price card 105 x 75 mm, item 18 mm, price 24 mm. Bag print 200 x 250 mm, word 50 mm, 15 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 105 x 75 mm price card at 18 mm closes the slots and the item reads as a bar under the market lamp. Raise the item to 24 mm, and check one card in the actual light.
