Cricut Crafty is a chunky tall mixed-case marker print drawn for a cutting machine: disconnected letters with a heavy even stroke, blunt square ends, a narrow proportion and generous gaps so a blade can pass between characters. The tall mixed case lets a long phrase stack in a narrow board, and the blunt ends are what keeps a weeded vinyl letter intact. It needs roughly 24 mm for the blunt end and the counter to read, and it is best in one dark ink on cream and kraft, or one vinyl colour on a plain surface where the cut edge stays clean.

A mixed-case craft marker reads as a home-made sign rather than a bought banner, which is what a family party wants above the table. The blunt ends cut cleanly at 44 mm on a topper, and one colour prints the sign and the wraps as one set.

Pre-production check
A 130 mm topper cut with 1 mm internal gaps loses the counter of the A and the word fills as a solid blob. Widen the gaps to 2 mm, and test one topper on a stick before the set.
