Duo pairing a brushed monoline signature with wide-tracked capitals
Beach Waves is a two-cut family in which a brushed monoline script writes one word and a wide-tracked sans sets the other, so a design gets a relaxed written line and a calm structural line from one purchase.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The script draws a light B with a soft loop, a round e, an open a and a hooked h; the sans cut sets wide capitals with generous tracking and even strokes. The pairing is the character: the script is loose and connected and the caps are fixed and spaced out, which is why the sample sets the script large and the caps small directly beneath. The script holds at 22 pt and the caps at 12 pt upward, and both print in one colour each on a light ground. The blurred beach photograph, the letterspaced line above and the credit below are presentation; the white script and white spaced caps are the family.

The script gives a summer card its relaxed voice while the spaced caps carry the details, so one card reads as designed at 40 pt and 12 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 mm square card: set the script word at 40 pt across the middle, set the date in 12 pt of the spaced caps beneath, and keep 15 mm of margin so the script tail is inside the trim.
Pre-production check
A spaced sans line under a script can drift off centre; check the printed card and centre the caps on the optical middle of the script above.
The duo handles both the personal and the practical part of a save-the-date, and the script holds a long pair of names at 28 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 148 by 105 mm card: set both names at 28 pt in the script, set the place and date in 11 pt of the spaced caps beneath, and keep 14 mm between the two blocks so the swash clears the caps.
Pre-production check
A swash dropping into a caps line looks accidental; check the proof and open the spacing to 14 mm or more.
The pair covers a shop name and a product line, and the spaced caps stay legible at 8 pt on a narrow label while the script carries the brand at 22 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 70 by 40 mm label: set the shop name at 22 pt in the script, set the product line in 8 pt of the spaced caps beneath, and keep 4 mm from the die so the script tail is whole.
Pre-production check
Spaced caps at 8 pt on a small die can look like a texture rather than words; check the label and keep at least 1.5 mm between the letters.
