Visual anatomy & craft review
Aden is a faceted low-poly display in caps, where each letter is assembled from crystal shards separated by crisp white crease lines, so a word reads as a shattered surface rather than a solid block. The crease lines are the only detail and they are structural, which means they have to stay separated or the letter becomes a polygon blob. It needs roughly 30 mm before the faceting reads as crystal, and it is at its best in one dark ink on a pale ground or reversed out of a deep colour.

Crystal faceting reads as rendered geometry, which is the reference a science-fiction cover wants. The crease lines give a title texture without an illustration.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cover 152 x 229 mm, title 54 pt, author 16 pt, 18 mm margins. Key art 1920 x 1080, word 400 px, safe margin 6 percent. Poster A2, word 300 mm, details 22/28 pt.
Pre-production check
Crease lines under 0.4 mm at 200 mm close on a digital press and the letter fills solid. Keep the gap at 0.6 mm, and check one 1:1 proof before the run.
Faceted blocks read as a machined product mark, which is what a hardware brand wants on a carton. The flat panels hold a one-colour print.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Carton 200 x 150 x 80 mm, word 40 mm on the lid. Sticker 80 x 50 mm, word 16 mm, 3 mm die margin. Shirt print 260 x 140 mm, word 55 mm, 40 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A die-cut sticker around faceted corners leaves narrow shoulders that peel first. Use a rounded-rectangle die with 3 mm clearance, and pull one sticker before the sheet.
Faceted forms read as ice, which is a seasonal reference without a snowflake graphic. The single ink holds up in low winter light.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Poster A2, word 280 mm, details 22/28 pt, 30 mm margins. Sign 600 x 400 mm, word 140 mm, 40 mm margins. Sleeve 180 x 60 mm, word 18 mm, 5 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
An ice-bar sign is often printed on acrylic and backlit, where a solid dark fill shows flow marks. Check one backlit sample, and use a tint rather than 100 percent if the fill looks uneven.
