pandekastudio writes display lettering with a serif's manners. Sogea is bold and contemporary, Talina softer, and the seven releases favour strong silhouettes with restrained internal detail.

Strong silhouettes survive distance. Check the counters at the size of a shop sign rather than at poster scale.
Elegant serif with ink traps
Sogea is an elegant serif in cream on a warm brown field: high contrast, fine hairlines, sharp serifs and small ink traps at the junctions, a tall waist and a wide x-height, set in two lines with a tracked caption beneath and a small ornament above.

Heavy rounded logo display
Talina is a heavy rounded display in royal blue on a pale sheet: a short name set in very heavy rounded letters with an extended T arm, wide round bowls and an inverted dot-and-stem i that reads as a cut counter, with three small credits in the corners.

High-contrast horror serif display
Night Stright is a horror display serif in bone cream on blood red: very high contrast, tall pointed serifs that flare into thorns, a splayed M and sharp wedge terminals, set over a graveyard silhouette, so the pair reads as a film title rather than as an editorial serif.

Ultra-fat heavy-packaging & cereal-box geometric display
Pogat is an ultra-heavy, slab-thick retro packaging font with massive ink mass and tiny circular pinhole counters built for snack and food branding!

Hand-drawn serif with soft edges
Railla Sore is a hand-drawn serif in cream over a sea photograph: rounded slab-like serifs with soft, slightly broken edges, moderate contrast, and letters that vary a little in width, so the word reads as lettered by hand rather than set from a file.

Heavy narrow mixed case with long rectangular bowls and high straight ascenders
Gondens is an extreme condensed display sans: stems twice as tall as they are wide, counters reduced to slots, and flat terminals that keep a long word inside a narrow column.

Warm hand-drawn vintage circus & carnival poster serif
Arcoba is a charming, hand-crafted vintage circus serif with flared wedge terminals, playful arched rhythm, and zero fragile hairlines!
