Compact ornamental serif capitals with pointed notches and pale edging
Zombie Terror presents three rows of compact serif capitals with red, orange and ochre faces traced by pale edges: narrow pointed notches cut into some stems and serifs, and the O counters take irregular flame-like inner shapes instead of smooth circles.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The skeleton stays serif-led and firm, the notches cut inward at a point, the pale edge separates each face from the row behind and the counters distort without breaking. The pointed notch is the character: the horror arrives as small incisions rather than dripping shapes, which is why the sample stacks three coloured rows. Because the notches are narrow, keep 32 pt before they disappear, and keep the title short so the detail is not buried; the hand and stains on the cover belong to the scene.

The notched capitals suit a film poster, and the three rows give a short title depth at 56 pt on an A3 sheet. The pale edge also keeps three rows apart on a dark poster.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A3 poster: set the title at 56 pt on two rows, keep every notch at 3 mm minimum, and keep 26 mm of clear sheet beneath for the times at 14 pt. Keep the times on a plain band.
Pre-production check
A notch printed under 1.5 mm reads as damage; check the film at full size and keep the title at 46 pt or above.
The pale edging lifts the row off a dark card, and the compact caps keep a short line at 30 pt on an A6 sheet. The compact caps also keep a short card readable.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A6 card: set the line at 30 pt, keep the pale edge at 1.5 mm, and set the details at 9 pt in a clean sans in the lower third. Keep the details on one line at the foot of the card.
Pre-production check
An edge thinner than 1 mm disappears on black card; check the proof and keep the line at 26 pt or above. Ask for a proof on black card.
The notched serif gives a bottle a dark note, and the compact caps stay solid at 20 pt on a 55 mm label. The serif skeleton also keeps a bottle label formal.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 40 mm label: set the brand at 20 pt, keep the notches at 1 mm, and set the strength in a 6 pt caps at the foot with 4 mm of clear ground. Keep the brand on one row.
Pre-production check
Three coloured rows on one small label become noise; check the proof and keep one row below 40 mm. Keep the notches at 1 mm or more.
