Bold serif paired with a hand-brushed script
Vintage Market is a nostalgic duo in cream over a market photograph: a bold serif for the first word and a hand-brushed script with long tails for the second, sold together as a pair with a small credit line beneath.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
Two words are stacked and the pair is built on contrast of manner rather than weight: Vintage is set in a bold serif with sturdy stems, small bracketed serifs and a wide stance, while Market is written in a brush script below it, with thick swelled strokes, a tall M that opens into a loop and a final tail that runs out under the word and curls back. The scripts and the serif share a colour, so the pair reads as one sign rather than two elements, and the script is loose enough to look painted by hand. Between and beneath them, three small lines of capital and script name the pair, its contents and its studio, all in the same cream ink. The ground is a warm photograph of a market doorway with figures, foliage and stone, kept soft. Vintage Market is a duo for shopfronts, packaging, menus and posters with a nostalgic tone, and it needs short words and a photographic or plain ground.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Vintage Market’s stroke geometry.
A bold serif over a brushed script reads as a hand-painted stall sign, and the pair covers a name and a claim on one board.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 700 by 400 mm board: set the serif at 120 pt on one line, set the script at 100 pt beneath with 30 mm of clear ground, and hold 26 mm of border on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A brush script painted large loses its taper; print one board and check the stroke before the signwriter copies it.
A nostalgic pair gives a paper bag the look of a shop with a history, and the script can carry a product name under the serif brand.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 70 by 45 mm bag label: set the brand at 14 pt in the serif, set the product at 12 pt in the script with 5 mm of clear ground, and hold 4 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A script at twelve points can clot in the joins; print one on the real paper and check before the order.
The pair gives a cover a period voice without a photograph, and the script can carry a subtitle that a serif would set too formally.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 152 by 229 mm cover: set the title at 40 pt in the serif, set the subtitle at 30 pt in the script with 18 mm of clear ground, and hold 14 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Two warm inks on a busy cover can merge; proof one cover and check the separation before printing.
