Arched collegiate block display
Varsity Bold is a collegiate block display in white outline and gold outline on navy: broad slab capitals with an inner keyline, set in two lines on a gentle upward arch, with a small tracked line above and a plain note beneath.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate shows the arch as the main effect: the first word curves upward and the second word is set in gold beneath, so the buyer sees how the face behaves when letters are rotated along a baseline. The drawing is a broad collegiate block with square serifs and an inner keyline, which converts to a two-colour applique or a single-colour outline. That construction sets a size floor for the keyline, and the arch means the spacing has to be adjusted letter by letter. The navy ground makes the white and the gold read as school colours. Because the letters are heavy and wide, the face suits a banner, a shirt and a sign, and the arch is best limited to short phrases, since a long line on a curve becomes hard to read.

A collegiate block with an arch reads as varsity kit, and the two-colour keyline lets one banner carry school colours. The arch is what makes it read as kit.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print 1,300 by 480 mm: the team at 160 mm cap height on a shallow arch, the fixture in a 34 mm sans, and a 6 mm keyline. Keep 30 mm margins and print two colours on light vinyl.
Pre-production check
Check the banner at ten metres, where a 6 mm keyline can vanish; keep it above 8 mm. Confirm the 34 mm fixture reads at five metres and that the arch stays symmetrical.
A varsity block prints as two screens and reads as official kit, which suits a supporters' shirt on a crowd photo. Crowd photos reward a heavy outline.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 250 mm chest graphic: the name at 60 mm cap height on a shallow arch, the year at 28 mm, and two inks with a 3 mm keyline. Keep the narrowest counter at 4 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 3 mm keyline can fill; thicken it to 4 mm. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the arch stays level after five cycles.
A collegiate sign names a club in the language of the sport, and the arched line reads from a distance on a clubhouse wall.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Fabricate a 900 by 320 mm panel: the club at 110 mm cap height on a shallow arch, the hours in a 22 mm sans, and a 5 mm keyline. Keep 24 mm margins and specify a matte finish.
Pre-production check
Check the panel at 110 mm, where the keyline can disappear in metal; keep it above 6 mm. Confirm the 22 mm hours read at three metres and that the arch clears the fixings.
