Visual anatomy & craft review
Valentine Love Duo pairs a heart-tipped calligraphy script with a heart-accented tall sans: the script runs a moderate contrast stroke on a shallow slant with swashes that finish in a drawn heart tip, while the sans is a narrow block whose i dots are small hearts. The pair gives one card two voices and two heart placements from a single palette, so an invitation, a seal and a sleeve can be printed as one set. The hearts are the finest elements and both close into dots as soon as the face shrinks, and the script's hairlines are the first thing to lose on textured stock. The script needs roughly 26 mm and the sans 22 mm for their detail to read.

A heart-tipped script with a heart-dotted sans puts the motif inside the lettering twice without a separate graphic. The hearts hold at 26 mm, and two soft inks print the card, the seal and the sleeve from one file.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, script 26 pt with 12 mm swash clearance, sans 22 mm, note 8/11 pt, 14 mm margins. Seal label 38 mm round, word 8 mm, 3 mm die margin. Sleeve 160 x 80 mm, script 18 mm, 10 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 38 mm seal at 8 mm loses the hearts under wax. Use an initial only on the seal, and pour one seal before the batch.
A heart-tipped calligraphy script signs a wedding invitation in a hand with a drawn flourish. The swashes hold at 28 pt, and the sans sets the details at 18 pt in the same ink.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, script 28 pt with 12 mm swash clearance, details 9/13 pt, 18 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, sans 18 pt, courses 9/12 pt. Place card 90 x 50 mm, script 14 pt, 4 mm margins.
Pre-production check
At 14 pt on a place card the heart tip closes into a comma and the name reads as a typo. Raise place cards to 18 pt, and proof one card before the suite.
A heart-tipped script gives a spring celebration a written title rather than a typeset one. The swashes hold at 30 mm on a card, and the sans keeps the details legible at 16 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, script 30 mm with 12 mm swash clearance, sans 16 pt, note 8/11 pt, 14 mm margins. Welcome sign 600 x 400 mm, script 90 mm, 25 mm margins. Banner 1200 x 400 mm, script 140 mm, 25 mm safe edge.
Pre-production check
On a 600 x 400 mm sign the heart tip runs past the printed area and gets trimmed. Keep the word inside a 25 mm margin with 12 mm extra to the right, and inspect one sign before hanging.
