Fine classical display serif
Stellar Oracle is a fine classical display serif in cream on navy: tall capitals with hairline stems, a long curved R leg that descends below the baseline, sharp flat serifs and a swash crossing from the second line, with tracked notes in the four corners naming style, studio and cut.

Crisp hairline serifs shine on stationery, foil stamping, and packaging; add slight offset for small decals.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words fill the plate and the drawing is a classical display serif: the stems are fine, the serifs are flat and sharp, and the R carries a leg that sweeps below the baseline and crosses beneath the following letters, which is what gives the block its celestial character. The notes in the corners are tiny tracked caps and they carry the practical information a buyer looks for — regular and display cuts, a ligature style, multilingual support. Because the contrast is high, the face belongs at display sizes on a smooth ground, and the navy is dark enough that the cream hairlines read across the room. The swash on the second line is drawn as part of the letter rather than added, which is why the lines sit so closely together.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Stellar Oracle’s stroke geometry.
A classical serif gives a science title gravity, and the drawn swash lets a two-word title fill the cover without extra ornament.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 100 mm cap height across 205 mm, the subtitle in a 12 pt serif, and the author at 9 pt. Print one ink on a coated stock and keep the title in the upper two thirds.
Pre-production check
Check the title at thumbnail size, where a long leg can merge with the next line; keep 10 mm between lines. Confirm the 9 pt author survives lamination and that the swash clears the trim.
A fine display serif gives a practice a mark with presence, and the long leg gives a short name a signature that reads on a wall.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 18 pt on a card, 95 mm on a wall and 12 pt in a footer, keeping the leg only above 22 pt. Keep one colour and reserve clear space equal to the leg depth.
Pre-production check
Check the 12 pt footer, where the leg can collide with the line below; drop it at that size. Confirm the wall mark reads at eight metres and that the hairlines survive vinyl cutting.
A classical serif gives an evening invitation formality, and the fine contrast reads as restraint on a plain card with foil.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A5 invitation: the names at 28 pt, the request in a 9.5 pt serif, and the date at 8.5 pt caps. Keep 26 mm margins and foil one colour on a deep card so the hairlines read.
Pre-production check
Check the 28 pt names in foil, where a hairline can break; keep it above 0.3 mm. Confirm the 9.5 pt request reads at arm's length and that the long leg clears the trim by 10 mm.
