Plain rounded neutral sans
Quality Dreams is a plain rounded sans in charcoal on a pale ground with a soft leaf shadow: mixed case with a short diagonal Q tail, an open e, even strokes and rounded terminals, set as one line with a small tracked line above and a plain line beneath.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate is quiet on purpose: one line, a lot of white, and a soft shadow across the corner that gives the sheet depth without decorating the type. The drawing is a neutral sans with rounded terminals and an open e, and the Q has a short diagonal tail, which is the sort of small decision that separates a plain sans from a default. That construction makes the face usable at moderate sizes as well as large, and the plate sets it at a size where the terminals can be judged. The leaf shadow is staging, and the two lines above and beneath are plain caps. Because the forms are neutral, the face suits a brand, a report and an interface, and it is the sort of face a buyer chooses for a system rather than for a single poster.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Quality Dreams’s stroke geometry.
A rounded neutral sans reads as calm without becoming a script, and the even stroke holds on a sign and a card together.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the name at 15 pt on a card, 90 mm on a wall and 10 pt in a footer, in one weight. Keep one colour and clear space equal to the cap height on all sides.
Pre-production check
Check the 10 pt footer on uncoated paper, where a rounded terminal can fill; keep the size above 11 pt. Confirm the wall name reads at eight metres and that the terminals stay even.
A neutral rounded sans holds long headings and captions from one licence, which is what a report needs on a small budget.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the heading at 26 pt, the subheading at 12 pt and the caption at 8.5 pt on a 120 mm measure. Keep the leading at 1.4 and leave 6 mm above each heading.
Pre-production check
Check the 8.5 pt caption in a proof, where a rounded join can close; keep the contrast above 4.5:1. Confirm the 26 pt heading breaks cleanly and that the rag stays even.
A plain sans reads from a corridor board without shouting, which suits a class notice that has to be trusted. Trust starts with type that does not shout.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A3 poster: the class at 70 mm cap height, the times in a 20 mm sans, and the room at 12 mm. Keep 25 mm margins and print two colours on a light stock.
Pre-production check
Check the poster at three metres, where an even stroke can look light; keep the weight up. Confirm the 12 mm room reads at two metres and that the poster sits at eye height.
Technical & licence verification
