Tall soft letters with curled extensions and an offset outline
Kinder Garden is a tall soft face in which the letters rise above the line, the extensions curl away and an offset outline sits behind each stroke, so a word reads as a hand-painted shop sign with depth.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The capital K keeps a straight stem and a wide arm, the i carries a rounded cap, the n holds a full shoulder, the d rises into a tall stem and the r curls at the terminal, all at an even medium weight with rounded ends. The curl on the extensions is the character: arms and legs turn outward, which keeps the word from reading as a plain rounded sans at 40 pt and gives it a sixties poster feel. The offset outline is a treatment rather than part of the letterforms, so the face works flat as well. The tall proportions set the leading when stacked. The pale ground, the pink and cream inks, the small flowers and the caption are presentation; the display face is the two words.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Kinder Garden’s stroke geometry.
The soft tall letters read at 12 cm on a painted board and the curled extensions give a nursery sign a friendly register at a distance.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an 800 by 400 mm board: set the name at 12 cm in two lines with 20 mm leading, set the opening hours in a 4 cm rounded sans below, and keep 9 cm of border so the curls stay clear of the frame.
Pre-production check
An offset outline printed at 12 cm looks like a misregistration; check the board at distance and use the outline only on the smaller items.
The tall soft letters fill a door plate at 40 mm, and the curled extensions make a plain name feel painted rather than cut from a template.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 200 by 60 mm door plate: set the name at 40 mm, set the age in a 12 mm rounded sans at the right, and keep 12 mm of margin so the curled tail stays inside the plate on both ends.
Pre-production check
A curled tail near a plate edge gets clipped by the fixing; check the layout against the screw holes and shift the name inboard.
The tall letters cut cleanly in card and stay readable against frosting at 45 mm, where a lighter script would disappear into the cake.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cut a 140 mm wide topper: set the word at 45 mm tall, keep 6 mm of material around the curve of each extension, and leave a 20 mm stem at the centre so the topper stands without a support behind the cake.
Pre-production check
A thin curled extension snaps in card under 4 mm; check the vector at full size and thicken the curl rather than the straight stems.
