Modern serif with long upper loops
Orange Portrait is a modern serif in burnt orange on off-white: broad mixed-case letters with heavy stems and hairline joins, and long fine loops that rise from the O and the g and cross above the word, with the second line tucked underneath and tracked lines at the head and foot.

Crisp hairline serifs shine on stationery, foil stamping, and packaging; add slight offset for small decals.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked tightly, and the loops that leave the first line run over the second, which is what makes the setting read as a single drawn composition rather than as two lines of type. The drawing is a modern serif with heavy stems and hairline joins, and the loops are drawn as part of the letterforms rather than added as a flourish, so the face is a display cut with a specific behaviour. The specimen sets it over a soft portrait so the orange holds on the pale ground, and the tracked lines at the head and the foot are set in a plain face at a fraction of the size. Because the joins are hairlines, the face works at display sizes and on smooth stock, and the plate keeps the palette to two warm tones.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Orange Portrait’s stroke geometry.
A modern serif with loops gives a studio a mark that reads as a maker's stamp, and the heavy stems hold on a small impressed tag.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the mark at 18 pt on a card, 80 mm on a shelf panel and 12 pt on a tag, keeping the loops only above 20 pt. Keep one colour and clear space equal to the loop height.
Pre-production check
Check the 12 pt tag, where a loop can close the line above; drop it at that size. Confirm the panel mark reads at four metres and that the loops stay inside the panel edge.
A warm display serif gives an art cover a single gesture, and the crossing loops let two words sit tight without extra ornament.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 90 mm cap height across 200 mm, the subtitle in an 11 pt serif, and the author at 9 pt. Print one ink on a cream stock and keep the loops clear of the subtitle.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 90 mm, where the loops can collide with the subtitle; keep 12 mm between them. Confirm the 9 pt author survives lamination and that the loops clear the trim.
A warm serif suits an autumn palette, and the drawn loops give a short pair of names a composed look on a plain cream card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A5 invitation: the names at 26 pt, the request in a 9.5 pt serif, and the date at 8.5 pt caps. Keep 26 mm margins so the loops have room and foil one colour on a deep cream card.
Pre-production check
Check the 26 pt names in foil, where a hairline can break; keep it above 0.3 mm. Confirm the 9.5 pt request reads at arm's length and that the loops clear the trim by 10 mm.
