Bubble-orb assembled display
Nocturnal Orb is a colour font sheet on a dark gradient: each capital assembled from glossy multicoloured spheres, lit with highlights and rim light in teal, magenta and orange, shown as three letters with a tracked title above and a row of format badges and a plain descriptor along the foot.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate is a colour-bitmap specimen, and the badges along the foot are the practical part: they name the format, the resolution and the character coverage, which matters because this is an image-based face rather than an outline. The construction is three capitals built from packed spheres, so each letter reads as a cluster of bubbles that happens to form a shape, and the gradient ground lets the rim light do the separating work. That construction sets a large size floor, because the spheres and highlights close first. The title and the badges are product copy. It suits a poster, a sleeve and a social graphic for a music or a club subject, and it is a device for a short word.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Nocturnal Orb’s stroke geometry.
An orb display reads as a sleeve, and the glossy spheres hold on a dark cover where a flat face would look dull. It prints as a sleeve.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the title at 90 mm across 190 mm, the artist in a 10 pt sans, and the label at 8 pt. Print four colours on a coated stock, keep 20 mm margins and keep 1.5 mm between the orbs.
Pre-production check
Check the title at 90 mm, where an orb can merge with its neighbour; keep 1.5 mm of gap. Confirm the 8 pt label survives lamination and that the highlights stay clean.
An orb display names a night, and the rim light reads across a dark room where a fine face would disappear. It reads across a dark room.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 poster: the night at 110 mm cap height, the line-up in an 18 mm sans, and the venue at 11 mm. Keep 28 mm margins, print four colours on a dark stock and keep the orbs above 4 mm.
Pre-production check
Check the A2 at five metres, where an orb closes into a mass; keep it above 4 mm. Confirm the 11 mm venue reads at two metres and that the line-up fits the measure.
An orb display sets a late party, and the saturated spheres give a small card the look of a printed invitation rather than a template.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A6 card: the greeting at 28 pt, the details in a 10 pt sans, and the date at 9 pt. Keep 15 mm margins, print four colours on a dark card and leave 12 mm at the foot for the address.
Pre-production check
Check the 28 pt greeting at home-print resolution, where an orb merges; keep 1.2 mm of gap. Confirm the details keep a 4.5:1 contrast and that the card folds flat.
