Visual anatomy & craft review
Miraclin is a romantic medium-weight calligraphy script with figure-eight flourishes: a moderate contrast stroke, a shallow slant, joined letters and flourishes that loop through a figure eight at the start and end of a line. The figure-eight loops need side clearance and are the first thing trimmed, and the medium weight keeps the script honest at small sizes. It needs roughly 26 mm for the loop and the flourish to read, and it is best in one warm ink on smooth card, or a foil impression above 38 pt.

A figure-eight flourish gives a wedding invitation a drawn gesture rather than a plate. The loops hold at 28 pt with side clearance, and one warm ink on smooth card prints the suite in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 28 pt with 14 mm flourish clearance, details 9/13 pt, 18 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, header 16 pt, courses 9/12 pt. Place card 90 x 50 mm, name 14 pt, 4 mm margins.
Pre-production check
At 14 pt on a place card the figure-eight closes into a comma and the name reads as a typo. Raise place cards to 18 pt, and proof one card before the suite.
A figure-eight script carries the gesture of a February card without a printed heart. The loops hold at 26 pt, and one warm ink prints the card, the seal and the sleeve from one file.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 26 pt with 12 mm flourish clearance, note 8/11 pt, 14 mm margins. Seal label 38 mm round, word 7 mm, 3 mm die margin. Sleeve 160 x 80 mm, word 18 mm, 10 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 38 mm seal at 7 mm loses the flourish under wax. Use an initial only on the seal, and pour one seal before the batch.
A figure-eight script reads as the atelier's own hand rather than a wordmark. The loops hold at 24 mm, and one ink prints the card and the band in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 85 x 55 mm, word 24 mm with 12 mm flourish clearance, details 7/9 pt, 10 mm margins. Tissue band 300 x 60 mm, word 20 mm, 10 mm margins. Box seal 40 mm round, monogram 22 mm, 3 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
A 300 x 60 mm band at 20 mm creases through the flourish and the name reads as a smear. Keep the word off the fold line, and wrap one box before the run.
