Jelly Bean is a comic-outlined candy display of fat rounded bean shapes: each letter is a plump oval with a thin black contour, a small white specular highlight and a slight squidge that tilts some characters out of line. The outline makes the face read as a sticker and the highlight is what closes first when the word shrinks. It needs roughly 28 mm for the contour and the highlight to read, and it is best in two candy inks on white, or one ink plus the knocked-out highlight on coloured card.
