Visual anatomy & craft review
Bubble Rush is a bouncy brush-marker display with thick-and-thin strokes, plump curves and an energetic baseline that rises and falls across a word, so it reads as a name painted fast on a party banner. The taper is what gives it life, and the uneven weight means it holds at large sizes and thins below about 22 mm. It needs roughly 24 mm for the taper to read as brush, and it is best in magenta and plum on blush pink or in one bright ink on white.

Bouncy brush lettering reads as a banner painted for one afternoon, which is what a family birthday hangs in the kitchen. The taper holds at 130 mm in one colour, and the bouncy baseline keeps a short name from looking printed.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Banner 900 x 300 mm, word 130 mm, 40 mm margins and 20 mm clear of each eyelet. Cup wrap 200 x 90 mm, word 20 mm, 10 mm from the rim. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 50 mm with an 8 mm slot and 10 mm clear.
Pre-production check
A cup wrap follows a cone and a bouncing baseline tilts at the seam, doubling the first stroke. Keep the word inside the flat 60 mm centre band, and check one wrapped cup before the party.
Brush-marker bounce reads as a hand-lettered cover for young readers, which is what a children's title prints on a bright cover. The taper gives the masthead movement over a photograph, and one colour keeps a small print run affordable.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cover 210 x 297 mm, title 90 mm, cover lines 10/14 pt, 18 mm margins and 10 mm trim. Activity page A4, header 30 mm, body 12/16 pt. Poster A2, word 260 mm, details 22/28 pt, 30 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A masthead over a busy photograph loses a tapered stroke where it crosses a light detail. Place the word over a 30 percent scrim, and check one printed cover at arm's length before the run.
Marker bounce reads as something a parent painted for a school fete, which is what a committee wants rather than a corporate banner. The taper survives enlargement on a school copier, and one bright ink covers the whole set.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Banner 1500 x 400 mm, word 250 mm, 100 mm margins with eyelets every 500 mm. Display 1200 x 300 mm, letters 180 mm cut from card with 12 mm bridges. Stall sign 400 x 300 mm, word 90 mm, 30 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A copier enlargement at 300 percent prints the taper as a stepped edge and the display letters look chewed. Enlarge from vector art at 600 dpi, and check one sheet before cutting the set.
