Rounded line-like joined script
Glypher is a rounded monoline joined script with a looping G, tall l and h ascenders that nearly double the x-height, and a high dot over the i.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The word is set white on a dark ground over a photograph, which flatters a monoline face because the even stroke never competes with the background for contrast. The G loops back into its own bowl, the l and h ascenders rise to almost double the x-height, and the joins sit low, so the word reads as a continuous line rather than a row of shapes. Because the stroke is even, the face has no weight contrast to break up at small sizes, which is why it holds up on signage and cutting files better than a high-contrast script. The tracked caption underneath is a separate label line and the leaf in the corner is artwork.

An even monoline weight means the face keeps its shape at distance and cuts without thin sections that tear during weeding.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the name at 12-inch width for a shopfront pane, weld the joins before cutting, and keep 5 inches of clear glass on both sides so the loops read as loops.
Pre-production check
The single dot above the i is a small separate piece; plan for it in the weeding order or use a face variant without it.
Rounded joined letters stay legible on a small printed label while the looped G gives a handmade garden range its signature.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Keep the script at 13 pt on a 60 by 25 mm label, print in one ink only, and leave 3 mm between the ascending l and the label edge so the stem is not trimmed.
Pre-production check
Moisture and soil dull matte inks quickly, so laminate or use a synthetic stock if the label goes outdoors.
A monoline script reads as a signature rather than a headline, which is exactly the role of a byline in a design-led publication.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the byline at 18 pt on a single line, align it to the left margin of the column, and keep the following standfirst at least 14 mm below so the loops stay clear.
Pre-production check
Do not track the script out; the joins are drawn to touch, and added spacing breaks the connection between letters.
