Visual anatomy & craft review
Dealova is a monoline script in which the joins swell into small hearts and the family ships more than seventy swash alternates for the caps and final letters. The heart joins sit on the baseline, so the word reads as a chain of loops, and the alternates let the first and last letters carry a long tail. It needs roughly 22 mm for the heart join and the swash to read, and it is best in one warm ink on ivory, or a foil impression above 36 pt where the monoline keeps the heart open.

A monoline script with heart joins gives a romantic wedding a hand-drawn invitation rather than an engraved one. The swash alternates let the couple's names finish with one long tail at 28 pt, and one ink on smooth card keeps the monoline even.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 28 pt with 10 mm swash clearance, details 9/13 pt, 15 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, header 16 pt, courses 9/12 pt. Place card 90 x 50 mm, name 11 pt, 4 mm margins.
Pre-production check
An 11 pt place card closes the heart join into a plain loop and the name loses the gesture entirely. Raise place cards to 14 pt, and proof one card before the suite.
Heart joins make a February card read as written rather than typeset, which is what the occasion wants without a printed heart graphic. The swash alternates give the closing word a long tail at 24 mm, and one red ink prints the card, the band and the sleeve from one file.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 24 mm with 8 mm swash clearance, note 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Ribbon band 200 x 30 mm, word 9 mm, 5 mm margins. Sleeve 160 x 80 mm, word 18 mm, 8 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On a 20 mm ribbon the heart join doubles at the fold and reads as a red bead on the thread. Keep the band to one word and print it in the plain variant, then wrap one bar before the order.
A monoline script with heart joins suits a stationery brand because the lettering is the product's own language. The swashes give the name movement at 26 mm on a band, and one ink prints the band, the tag and the card without a second plate.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Tissue band 300 x 60 mm, word 26 mm with 8 mm swash clearance, 6 mm margins. Swing tag 50 x 90 mm, word 12 mm with a 4 mm hole and 8 mm clear. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 18 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 50 x 90 mm swing tag at 12 mm puts the swash tail through the punched hole and the cord cuts the letter. Shift the hole 10 mm clear or raise the word to 16 mm, and test one tag before the run.
