Rounded mixed forms with sweeping lower strokes and a wavy die edge
Crayons is a rounded display face in which the letters are fat and soft, some strokes sweep below the baseline and the whole word sits inside a wavy edge, so a short phrase reads as a hand-cut sticker.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The C opens a wide crescent, the r keeps a short arm, the a holds a round bowl, the y drops a long sweeping tail and the s reverses through two plump curves, all at a heavy even weight with fully rounded ends. The sweep is the character: the y and the tail of the last letter drop below the line and curl, which keeps the lockup from sitting flat and gives it the look of a drawing rather than a typeface. Because the letters are separate and equally weighted, they can take a different colour each without losing the rhythm. The wavy edge in the sample is a cut line rather than part of the letters. The white ground, the pastel fills, the sparkles and the two caption lines are presentation; the display face is the word.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Crayons’s stroke geometry.
The sweeping tails give a small sticker movement, and the rounded weight reads at 14 pt on a die where a flatter face would look like a label.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 50 mm round sticker with a wavy die: set the word at 14 pt, keep the sweeping tail 4 mm inside the die, and check that the wavy edge does not cut through the lowest curve of the tail.
Pre-production check
A wavy die cutting a tail leaves a thin sliver; check the die line against the artwork and lift the word by 2 mm rather than trimming the sweep.
The rounded forms carry a printed backdrop at 60 mm, and the per-letter colour lets one print match any party palette without extra artwork.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 1.2 by 0.8 m paper backdrop: set the greeting at 60 mm, keep 8 mm between letters so the rounded ends stay separate, and leave 10 cm of blank paper at each edge so the fixings land on plain ground.
Pre-production check
A backdrop hung with tape at the corners sags in the middle; add a centre fixing and check the hung print before the party starts.
The playful weight keeps a worksheet heading friendly at 22 pt, and the open counters survive a school photocopier running at A4.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A4 worksheet: set the heading at 22 pt across the top margin, set the instructions in an 11 pt rounded sans at 15 pt leading, and keep 10 mm below the heading so the sweeping tails do not cross the first line.
Pre-production check
Photocopiers thicken rounded strokes and close counters; check a copy at full size and open the a and e if the letters begin to bridge.
