Visual anatomy & craft review
Christmas Sprinkle is a tall, bouncy whimsical display in mixed case with heart-dotted i, curled terminals on the S, R and K, and a cut-paper feel that comes from slight per-glyph rotation rather than an outline. The letters are narrow and tall, which lets a long word stack in a column, and the bounce keeps a short greeting from looking mechanical. It needs roughly 16 mm for the hearts and curls to read, and it is at its best in a bright multi-colour treatment on a pale ground, though a single colour also works on a card.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Christmas Sprinkle’s stroke geometry.
Tall bouncy letters read as a paper cut-out, which is the handmade register a family card wants rather than a corporate festive graphic. The heart-dotted i gives the face its seasonal charm without an illustration.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 120 x 170 mm, greeting 24 mm, message 8/12 pt, 14 mm margins. Tag 50 x 90 mm, name 9 mm, hole 5 mm clear, 3 mm trim margin. Tin label 90 x 60 mm, word 16 mm, 6 mm border and 4 mm top arc clearance.
Pre-production check
A cut-paper card is often printed on textured stock and the 16 mm curls fill. Print one card on the final stock, and if the curls blob, raise the greeting to 20 mm or move to a smoother paper.
Whimsical bounce suits a child's party without a licensed theme, and the narrow letters fit a long name on one A6 line. Cut-paper contours hold when the topper is die-cut.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, name 16 mm, details 4.5 mm, 10 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, name 45 mm, 8 mm stick slot. Banner letters 120 mm on 2 mm card, 5 mm hole, 30 mm margins.
Pre-production check
Banner letters cut by hand along curved terminals look ragged, and the heart dot of the i tears first. Die-cut the banner letters, and print a faint cut guide on the reverse for a home cutting machine.
Playful tall letters keep a winter display friendly, and the open counters stay legible at 12 mm on a chart header. One colour works on a photocopied sheet.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Display letters 90 mm on 160 gsm, 30 mm margins, 50 mm pitch. Chart header 400 x 100 mm, word 40 mm. Card 105 x 148 mm, greeting 18 mm, message 7/10 pt.
Pre-production check
School copiers print 90 mm letters at 300 dpi and the cut-paper bounce reads as a wobble. Print one test sheet, and if the letters look broken, use a cleaner alternate for displays and keep the bounce for cards.
