Ornate calligraphic script with ball terminals and curls
Chocolate Banana is an ornate calligraphic script in which the capitals flare, the terminals finish in balls and the connectors curl, so a two-word title reads as a sign painted for a sweet shop.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The C opens a wide flared capital, the h rises on a heavy stem, the o stays a full ring, the c curls a crescent, the l loops a tall stem and the t finishes a ball terminal, all at a brush contrast with drawn curls and heavy joins. The ball terminals are the character: they sit at the ends of the strokes and give the word its period feel, which is why the sample sets two stacked words in white on black. Because the strokes are heavy, the face holds from 28 pt and prints in one flat colour; the balls need a little space around them. The black field, the soft shadow and the small caps line beneath are presentation; the white display words are the face.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Chocolate Banana’s stroke geometry.
The ball terminals give a shop a period mark, and the heavy strokes read through glass at 70 mm cut from vinyl in one colour.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cut a 700 by 250 mm sign: set the words at 70 mm, keep the ball terminals at 6 mm across so they survive weeding, and keep 25 mm of border for the fixings.
Pre-production check
Ball terminals under 4 mm tear during weeding; check the cut file and enlarge the balls rather than the letters.
The calligraphic weight cuts as a single piece on a home cutter, and the drawn curls give the topper its character at 45 mm in card.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Cut a 180 mm topper: set the word at 45 mm, keep every stroke at 6 mm of material, and add a 20 mm stem behind the central letter so the topper stands level.
Pre-production check
A thin connector between two letters snaps under a cake's weight; check the vector and thicken the join to 4 mm.
The period script suits a dessert menu, and the heavy weight keeps a course name readable at 22 pt on a small card in one ink.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 105 by 148 mm card: set the course name at 22 pt, set the desserts in a 10 pt serif beneath, and keep 14 mm of margin so the curled terminals stay inside the trim.
Pre-production check
Curled terminals at the trim look cut; check the imposed card and pull the heading inward by 5 mm.
