Flourished script with a long underline
Samantha is a flourished script in white on black: a tall looping capital S, a narrow connecting body and two long swashes, one crossing above the word and one curling beneath it.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The name fills the frame, and the face is a display script built on its flourishes: the S opens with a double loop, the a and the m are narrow round forms, the t is a short stem with a long crossbar and the h rises into a loop, while an entry swash sweeps in above the first letter and an under-swash curls out beneath the word and returns. The stroke is medium weight and even, the letters connect in a clean rhythm and the swashes carry the personality, which is what lets a simple name fill a wide sheet. Two tracked capital lines sit above and below the name on a plain black ground. Samantha is a display script for invitations, labels and brand marks with a romantic tone: the swashes need generous margins, and the face holds at moderate sizes because the stroke is even rather than hairlined.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Samantha’s stroke geometry.
The swashes give two names a decorated shape without a border, and the even stroke keeps the script readable on a textured card at card size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm invitation: set the names at 28 pt on one line, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the venue at 9 pt, and hold 20 mm of margin so the swashes clear the trim.
Pre-production check
The under-swash can collide with the line beneath; print one invitation at the finished size and check the clearance before the suite.
A showy script on a small label turns a plain box into a present, and the even stroke holds at fifteen points where a hairline face would fill in.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 45 mm label: set the greeting at 14 pt on one line, keep 5 mm of clear ground beneath before the name at 6 pt, and hold 4 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A flourish can run past a small label edge; print one at the real size and check both ends before the order.
A script with big swashes fills a board as a drawn element, and the white-on-dark treatment reads right across a dim reception room.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 400 by 250 mm board: set the greeting at 96 pt on one line, keep 22 mm of clear ground beneath before the names at 22 pt, and hold 20 mm of border on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Thin swashes look fragile when scaled to a board; print one at the final size and check the weight before the set.
