Broad solid slabs with rounded-square bowls and contrasting edging
Bold Jersey is a solid athletic slab in which the B bowls spread wide, the O closes almost rectangular with rounded corners, the slab feet hold the broad shapes together and fine contrasting edges lift the blocks off the ground.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The O squares into a rounded rectangle, the B opens two broad bowls, the slab feet stay heavy and a fine contrasting edge runs around each letter. The solid block is the character: the word reads as a stitched panel patch, which is why the sample stacks a navy row over a red one. Because the bowls are wide and solid, the face wants 28 pt before the counters stay open, and the edge needs 1 mm to survive a screen print. The stars, borders and shield in the sample are presentation.

The solid slabs give a shirt weight, and the wide bowls keep a team name readable at 80 mm across a printed chest in two inks. Two inks keep the edge and the block separate.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 300 mm chest print: set the upper row at 80 mm and the lower at 65 mm, keep 16 mm between the rows, and keep the contrasting edge at 2 mm minimum on both. Keep the number on a separate row.
Pre-production check
An edge printed thinner than 1.5 mm disappears on a dark shirt; check the film and thicken the edge, not the block.
The broad blocks read at distance, and the rounded-square bowls hold a two-row title at 55 mm on a printed banner. The square O gives the row its structure.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 1200 by 600 mm banner: set the upper row at 55 mm and the lower at 45 mm, keep 14 mm between the rows, and keep 30 mm from the welded edge on every side. Set the eyelets after the type is placed.
Pre-production check
Two rows printed flush read as one heavy bar; check the banner and open the gap to 18 mm. A contrasting rule is not needed if the gap is clear.
The solid slab suits a gym label, and the contrasting edge keeps the name crisp at 22 pt on a 55 mm panel. The wide bowls keep a short club name strong at small size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 55 by 35 mm label: set the name at 22 pt, keep the edge at 8 mm, and set the class type in a 6 pt mono beneath with 4 mm of clear ground so the blocks stay separate. Centre the name on the panel.
Pre-production check
A narrow label with two edge weights looks busy; check the proof and use the edge on the name only. Keep the class line plain and small.
