Visual anatomy & craft review
The cover is divided in two. On the left the bundle name is set in a solid black blackletter over an ornamented parchment ground, with a price and a row of icons underneath. On the right a grid of tiles shows twelve of the faces in the set, each with a label: a stencil blackletter, a rough tattoo cut, a ribbon weight, a condensed Victorian, a neon outline, a puffy rounded cut and a reverse fraktur among them. The tiles are the useful part of the image, because they show how differently the same skeleton behaves when the fill, the width or the contrast changes. A gold band across the bottom of the left panel repeats the count and the terms. It is a product cover rather than a specimen, and it is honest about what a bundle is: one idea, many treatments, sold on variety.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Blackletter Mix Mega Bundle’s stroke geometry.
The tile grid shows a client the range before a single sample is printed, and the lettering on the left gives the catalogue a cover that matches the stock.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A4 catalogue cover: set the title at 54 pt in the heavy cut, keep 18 mm of clear ground beneath before the price band at 10 pt, and hold 14 mm of margin on all four sides of the sheet.
Pre-production check
Small tiles lose their detail on newsprint; print one cover on the intended stock and check the thinnest face before the run.
The grid format explains a family of faces in one image, which is what a feature about the style needs on its opening page.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 210 by 297 mm opener: set the feature title at 60 pt across two rows, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the standfirst at 10.5 pt, and hold 18 mm of margin so the tiles do not touch the type.
Pre-production check
Fine hairlines in the sample tiles break in a digital press; print one page and check the lightest face before the issue.
The variety in the tiles promises what a student will learn, and the heavy title reads from across a corridor where a lighter cover would not.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 420 by 594 mm poster: set the workshop title at 110 pt across two rows, keep 30 mm of clear ground beneath before the date at 14 pt, and hold 26 mm of margin so no tile is cropped.
Pre-production check
Poster stock absorbs the black unevenly; print one poster on the real paper and check the fills before the run.
