Visual anatomy & craft review
Thunder sits above Heat, and the script is a full retro monoline: the T opens with a spiral, the h and the n carry tall loops, the r and the e are compact and the whole word is joined from the first stroke to the last. The partner cut is a print version of the same drawing, used for the caption beneath, and the two share the same even stroke, so the pair reads as one hand in two moods. Two lightning bolts flank the upper word, two drawn flowers sit beside the lower one, and a starburst badge between them names the duo. The ground is a dark brown with small speckles, and two captions at the foot list the two cuts and the extras. The pair is a retro packaging and apparel combination: it wants size, two inks at most, and the ornaments are part of the purchase rather than decoration to be drawn.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Thunder Heat Duo’s stroke geometry.
A curled retro script with bolts reads as a party rather than a ceremony, which is what the evening half of a wedding needs.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 500 by 350 mm board: set the greeting at 100 pt in the script, set the times at 20 pt in the print with 24 mm of clear ground, and hold 22 mm of border on all sides.
Pre-production check
Cream on dark brown loses contrast under warm lights; print one board and check it at night before the set.
A retro script with drawn bolts sets a genre before a word is read, and the print cut carries the standfirst in the same hand.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm opener: set the heading at 70 pt in the script, set the standfirst at 10.5 pt in the print with 20 mm of clear ground, and hold 18 mm of margin on both sides.
Pre-production check
A spiral capital can look like a smudge at 70 pt on newsprint; print one opener on the actual stock and check the T before the issue.
The pair names a hot sauce in two voices, and the drawn bolts give a small label the heat cue it needs without a photograph of chillies.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 45 by 80 mm bottle label: set the brand at 15 pt in the script, set the heat level at 7 pt in the print with 5 mm of clear ground, and hold 4 mm of margin.
Pre-production check
Bolts and spirals turn to noise at bottle size; print one on the real stock and check the script before the order.
