Teenage Marley is a tall hand-cut tropical display drawn from tiki and surf posters: narrow letters with uneven scissor-cut edges, a slight lean, blunt terminals and small notch cuts where the blade changed direction. The hand-cut edge is the texture, and the tall proportions stack a long word in a narrow panel. It needs roughly 30 mm for the cut edge and the notch to read, and it is best in one saturated ink on sand and cream, or two flat colours on a dark ground where the cut edge stays visible.
