Visual anatomy & craft review
Sweet Honey is a delicate handwritten script in which adjacent letters connect through tall heart-shaped loops and the final letter runs out in a long tapered tail. The heart loops sit above the x-height and the hairline stroke is the lightest part of the face, so a word reads airy at large sizes and vanishes small. It needs roughly 24 mm for the heart loop and the tail to read, and it is best in a single warm ink on ivory or soft pink, with foil only above 40 pt.

Heart-shaped loops make a script read as a Valentine rather than a generic greeting, because the romance is built into the join instead of drawn separately. The long tail gives the closing line movement at 24 mm, and one warm ink prints the card, the liner and the small seal from a single artwork.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 24 mm with 8 mm loop clearance, note 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Liner 160 x 110 mm, word 30 mm, 10 mm margins. Seal 38 mm round, word 7 mm, 3 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
At 7 mm on a 38 mm seal the heart loops close into a solid bead and the greeting reads as a pink blob. Use an initial on the seal and keep the full line at 20 mm, then print one sheet before the batch.
A tall heart-loop script reads as a romantic hand-lettered invitation rather than an engraved plate, which suits a garden wedding. The tapered tail gives the couple's names one continuous line at 28 pt, and one ink on heavy ivory card holds the hairline far better than a coated sheet.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 28 pt with 10 mm tail clearance, details 9/13 pt, 15 mm margins. Order of service 105 x 148 mm, header 18 pt, text 8/11 pt. Table card 90 x 50 mm, name 11 pt, 4 mm margins.
Pre-production check
An 11 pt table card drops the 0.2 mm hairline below what a laser printer holds and the name prints as broken dots. Set table cards at 14 pt or in the companion sans, and proof one card before the suite.
A heart-loop script reads as a written note rather than a printed acknowledgement, which is what a small maker wants after a sale. The long tail carries the closing word off the card edge at 22 mm, and one ink prints the card, the tag and the ribbon band without rescaling the artwork.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card A6, greeting 22 mm with 8 mm tail clearance, note 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Tag 40 x 80 mm, word 10 mm with a 4 mm hole and 8 mm clear. Ribbon band 200 x 30 mm, word 9 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 40 x 80 mm tag at 10 mm runs the tapered tail into the punched hole and the thread cuts the last letter. Shift the hole 8 mm clear or shorten the word, and test one tag on the ribbon before the set.
