Angular marker script with sharp terminals
Stayard and Rob is a bold marker script in black on off-white paper: angled strokes, sharp cut terminals and a fast forward lean, with small red caps in the corners as the only decoration.

Visual anatomy & craft review
Stayard And Rob runs on two lines in a single heavy script, and the construction is a chisel marker rather than a brush: the strokes end in flat cuts rather than round balls, the ascenders on the t and the d are short spikes, and the whole line leans hard to the right so the two rows read as one movement. The joins are tight and angular, the counters of the a and the o are small triangles, and there is no connecting flourish at the end of either line. The ground is a plain off-white paper, and six small red captions sit in the four corners and the centre top and bottom. The face is a fast display script for posters, apparel and album art: it needs a large size, it works in a single colour, and the lean means it should not be set alongside upright type at the same weight.

The marker script reads as a hand-written cover line rather than a masthead, which suits a piece about a scene rather than a star.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm cover: set the cover line at 80 pt across two rows, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the cover lines at 12 pt, and hold 20 mm of margin on all sides.
Pre-production check
A hard lean at 80 pt crowds a vertical grid; print one cover at the final size and check the right edge clears the margin before the run.
A fast angular script gives a shop the look of a deck graphic, and one colour on a wall or a window is cheap to make and hard to confuse.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 600 by 300 mm window graphic: set the shop name at 110 pt across two rows, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the street at 18 pt, and hold 22 mm of border on all sides.
Pre-production check
Window vinyl is cut from the letter shapes, and small counters drop out; print one graphic at the final size and check the a before the order.
A marker script suits a registry office and a bar rather than a marquee, and it stays readable on a chalkboard at a small venue.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 450 by 300 mm board: set the greeting at 80 pt across two rows, keep 22 mm of clear ground beneath before the names at 22 pt, and hold 20 mm of border on all sides.
Pre-production check
Chalkboard lettering applied from vinyl looks shiny under low light; print one board on the intended surface and check it before the set.
