Heavy dry-brush textured script
Savage Brush is a heavy dry-brush script in black on a whitewashed wall: very thick strokes with torn, split edges, short loops and a hard forward lean, printed beside a house brush on the sheet.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked and set large, and the face is a brush script with an aggressive texture: the S and the B are built from broad strokes that split into several bristle trails at the ends, the a and the v are compact, the g drops a heavy loop and the h closes with a torn tail, while the letters lean hard and the joins are tight enough that each word reads as one mark. The stroke is very heavy in the body and frays at the edges, which is what gives the face its attitude, and the specimen stages it against a whitewashed wall with a real brush laid in the corner as a prop. A black stamp in the corner carries a short line about the face, and a tracked caption below the block names the style. Savage Brush is a display script for posters, apparel, packaging and event graphics, and it needs a large format and a short word.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Savage Brush’s stroke geometry.
A torn brush script reads as a board painted an hour before the guests arrived, which suits a party rather than a ceremony.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 600 by 400 mm board: set the greeting at 100 pt over two lines, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the names at 24 pt, and hold 22 mm of border on all four sides.
Pre-production check
The split edges can read as a printing fault on a smooth board; print one at the final size and judge the texture before the set.
A rough script gives a can an attitude a clean serif cannot, and the heavy stroke survives the small size of a can label.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 100 mm can label: set the beer name at 18 pt on two lines, keep 7 mm of clear ground beneath before the strength at 5 pt, and hold 5 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A torn edge fills in on a coated can; print one on the real material and check the splits before the order.
A wild brush face gives a cover movement and attitude, and the heavy strokes hold over a photograph where a hairline face would vanish.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm cover: set the cover word at 92 pt over two lines, keep 26 mm of clear ground beneath before the cover lines at 11 pt, and hold 22 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Fine bristle trails disappear on newsprint; print one cover on the intended stock and check the edges before the run.
