Bubble letters with pictorial counters
Spooky Sunday is a decorative bubble alphabet in pastel colours with a heavy outline: fat rounded letters whose counters are replaced by drawn pumpkins, skulls, ghosts and bats, presented on a grid ground.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The two words are stacked in bubble capitals, and the face is a display alphabet in which several letters are built from a Halloween shape rather than a counter: the o of Spooky is a pumpkin with a face, the o of Sunday is a skull, another o becomes a ghost and the y carries a small bat, while the remaining letters are fat rounded forms with a heavy dark outline and a flat fill. That substitution is the whole idea: a word becomes a picture without a separate illustration, which is why the sheet can carry a playful Halloween tone in two colours. Small drawn spiders, webs and stars fill the corners, and a banner at the foot names the style. Spooky Sunday is a display alphabet for party goods, cards and packaging, and it works best in one or two short words at a large size where the shapes read.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Spooky Sunday’s stroke geometry.
The pictorial counters do the work of an illustration on a small card, and the heavy outline keeps a busy word readable at card size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 120 by 120 mm square card: set the greeting at 30 pt over two lines, keep 14 mm of clear ground beneath before the details at 9 pt, and hold 13 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Pictorial letters can lose their shapes when small; print one card at the finished size and check the pumpkin before the batch.
A bubble alphabet with drawn faces reads at a distance, and the heavy outline holds on a fabric banner where a thin face would break up.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 900 by 400 mm banner: set the greeting at 140 pt over two lines, keep 30 mm of clear ground beneath before the date at 44 pt, and hold 26 mm of border on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Thin outlines can close at banner size; print one section at the final size and check the counters before the order.
Small stickers are where a pictorial alphabet pays off, and the heavy shapes survive a die cut with nothing fine to lose.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 100 by 150 mm sheet of 40 mm stickers: set the word at 20 pt inside each die, keep 7 mm of clear ground to the die line, and repeat the block across the sheet.
Pre-production check
A heavy outline can cross a tight die and get sliced; print one sheet and cut it before running the rest.
