Tall narrow separate Christmas print
Santa Christmas is a tall thin hand-drawn print: narrow rounded letters with long ascenders and a crossbar lifted high on the T, set in a black outline over a faded photograph of Santa and a tree.

Visual anatomy & craft review
Santa sits above Christmas in the same narrow hand, and both words are built from tall stems with small counters: the S curls at both ends, the h and the r lift into short ascenders, the T carries its crossbar well above the height of the other capitals, and the m and x are squeezed to almost nothing. The lettering is drawn as an outline rather than filled, so the faded photograph behind shows through, and a thin black rule frames the composition. Two words fill the card and there is no other element. The face is a seasonal display for cards, tags and signs: it is meant to be set large in a single colour, it should never be used for a long line, and the outline construction means it works either filled or as a line drawing on a coloured ground.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Santa Christmas’s stroke geometry.
Two words set large in one colour is all a Christmas card needs, and the outline lets the photograph or texture behind show through.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 105 by 148 mm card: set the greeting at 40 pt across two rows, keep 16 mm of clear ground beneath before the family name at 9 pt, and hold 13 mm of margin at the card edge.
Pre-production check
The outline closes up at card size on a home printer; print one card on the actual machine and check the a and e before the batch.
A tall narrow hand suits a small tag because it fits long words in a short width, and the outline reads at fifteen millimetres.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 40 by 80 mm tag: set the greeting at 12 pt across two rows, keep 5 mm of clear ground beneath before the recipient at 6 pt, and hold 4 mm from the outline to the punch hole.
Pre-production check
A punch hole can cut a tall ascender; print one tag, punch it and check both rows before the order.
A tall thin face gives a stall sign a hand-painted look, and one colour on a board keeps the print cost to a single pass for a stall that runs for a weekend.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 500 by 300 mm board: set the stall name at 90 pt across two rows, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the price list at 16 pt, and hold 20 mm of border on all sides.
Pre-production check
Narrow counters fill in when a board is printed at low resolution; print one at the final size and check the letters before the set.
