The S closes a large circular shape, the l rises into a tall loop, the connectors run light between letters and the h sends a deep return stroke back under the word. The circular swash is the character: it holds the whole word inside one gesture, which is why the sample sets a single line. Because the return stroke travels, the layout needs 20 mm of clearance beneath from 28 pt, and the loop wants the tallest part of the panel. The classroom photograph in the sample is background artwork; the script line is the face.
