Visual anatomy & craft review
Perfect Whiskey is a tall slender calligraphy script with a heart-looped terminal: a narrow high-contrast stroke with long ascenders, joins that pull the word into a vertical column, and a finishing loop that closes into a small heart. It is a bottle-label face, so it wants height and a single ink rather than a busy ground. The heart loop is the finest element and it closes into a dot as soon as the face is reduced. It needs roughly 34 mm for the loop and the hairline to read, and it is best one dark ink on cream or kraft.

A tall heart-looped script gives a valentine bottle the look of a small-batch label rather than a printed card. The loop holds at 34 mm on a label, and one dark ink prints the label and the sleeve in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Label 90 x 120 mm, word 34 mm with 12 mm loop clearance, details 7/9 pt, 8 mm margins. Sleeve 160 x 80 mm, word 20 mm, 10 mm margins. Card A6, word 30 mm, note 8/11 pt, 14 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On a 90 x 120 mm label at 34 mm the heart loop runs under the fold of the bottle and disappears. Keep the word 12 mm inside the trim, and label one bottle before the run.
A slender calligraphy script sets a formal wedding invitation with a drawn flourish rather than a printed graphic. The loop holds at 34 pt on an invitation, and the details set in the text face at 9 pt.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, names 34 pt with 12 mm loop clearance, details 9/13 pt, 18 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, head 20 pt, courses 9/12 pt. Place card 90 x 50 mm, name 16 pt, 4 mm margins.
Pre-production check
At 16 pt on a place card the heart loop closes into a comma and the name reads as a typo. Raise cards to 22 pt, and proof one card before the suite.
A tall calligraphy script reads as a printed bottle mark rather than a modern logo, which is what a small distillery wants on a shelf. The loop holds at 36 mm on a label, and one ink prints the label and the coaster in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Label 100 x 130 mm, word 36 mm with 12 mm loop clearance, details 7/9 pt, 8 mm margins. Coaster 95 mm round, word 16 mm, 4 mm die margin. Card 85 x 55 mm, word 20 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On a 95 mm coaster at 16 mm the hairlines drop and the loop becomes a blot. Raise the coaster to 22 mm, and print one coaster before the batch.
