Compact rising signature strokes
Monarque Signature is a compact signature script in dark brown on a cream card: tight bowls, short ascenders and a baseline that rises steadily to the right, with a small block caption between the two words.

Visual anatomy & craft review
Monarque sits on a rising baseline and Signature follows beneath it with the same upward slant, so the two lines feel written quickly rather than composed. The lettering is a compact signature: the M opens with a narrow double loop, the bowls of the a and the o are small, the q drops into a short tail, the S of Signature is a large curve and the final e lifts into a small flourish. The ascenders are short relative to the width, which is what keeps the script compact enough to fit a card. Between the two words the words Elegant Signature Typeface are set as a tiny block of centred capitals, and the studio credit sits at the foot in a lighter script. The face is a signature for invitations, marks and letterheads: it needs width rather than height, and its rising baseline should be set against a level rule or a card edge so the climb reads as intentional.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Monarque Signature’s stroke geometry.
A rising signature looks written by hand in one pass, and the compact width keeps a long pair of names on a single line.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm invitation: set the names at 28 pt on one row, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the venue at 9 pt, and hold 15 mm of margin on both sides.
Pre-production check
A rising baseline against a level card edge can look skewed; print one invitation at the finished size and check the optical level before the suite.
A compact signature ends a column without taking a whole line, which is the real constraint on a narrow measure in a printed page.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm page: set the sign-off at 26 pt on one row, keep 15 mm of clear ground beneath before the writer line at 9.5 pt, and hold 18 mm of margin at the outer edge.
Pre-production check
At twenty-six points the small bowls can close; print one page at the finished size and check the a and the o before the issue.
A signature mark gives a maker's card a personal finish, and the small block of capitals supplies the functional line without a second typeface.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an 85 by 55 mm card: set the name at 16 pt on one row, set the service line at 5.5 pt with 6 mm of clear ground, and hold 5 mm of margin on all sides.
Pre-production check
Tiny capitals at 5.5 pt can fill in on textured card; print one card on the intended stock and check the block before the order.
