Visual anatomy & craft review
Halloween Spider is a dual-mode Halloween display with a hatted cartoon spider monogram alphabet: a chunky display face plus a separate monogram set where each initial is drawn under a small witch hat and wrapped by a cartoon spider with visible legs and eyes. The legs are the finest element and they merge into the initial as soon as the monogram shrinks. It needs roughly 34 mm for the legs and the hat to read, and it is best in two flat inks on white, or one ink plus paper where the legs print as knockouts.

A hatted spider monogram is the party itself, so an invite needs no separate artwork. The legs hold at 30 mm, and two flat inks print the invite, the labels and the sign in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, monogram 30 mm with 8 mm leg clearance, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Bag label 80 x 50 mm, monogram 20 mm, 5 mm margins. Door sign 250 x 350 mm, monogram 60 mm, 20 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 80 x 50 mm bag label at a 20 mm monogram merges the legs into the initial and the name reads as a blot. Raise the monogram to 30 mm, and print one label before the batch.
A spider monogram gives an October wedding a crest with a sense of humour while staying drawn rather than printed. The legs hold at 34 mm on an invitation, and two flat inks print the crest and the menu header in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invitation 130 x 180 mm, crest 34 mm with 8 mm leg clearance, names 12 pt, details 9/13 pt, 18 mm margins. Menu 120 x 210 mm, crest 24 mm, courses 9/12 pt. Seal 38 mm round, initials 20 mm, 3 mm die margin.
Pre-production check
A 38 mm wax seal at a 20 mm monogram fills the legs into a solid disc. Use the initials alone on seals, and pour one seal before the batch.
A hatted spider monogram gives a seasonal shop a mark that reads as its own window art. The legs hold at 60 mm on a decal, and two flat inks print the decal and the cards in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Window decal 600 x 400 mm, monogram 90 mm with 12 mm leg clearance, 25 mm margins. Card 85 x 55 mm, monogram 26 mm, 5 mm margins. Bag print 200 x 250 mm, monogram 50 mm, 15 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 600 x 400 mm decal at 90 mm traps air between the spider legs and the vinyl lifts at every joint. Use a wet-apply method, and apply one decal before the run.
