Visual anatomy & craft review
Golden Rooster is a geometric art-gallery sans with interlocking ligature bowls: perfectly circular bowls, straight-sided stems, and a set of ligatures where two round letters share one overlapping arc so the pair reads as a single drawn form. The interlock is the design and it breaks if the pair is tracked apart, and the circular bowls close when the face shrinks. It needs roughly 26 mm for the interlock and the bowl to read, and it is best in one fine ink on a pale ground, or a single dark tone on coated stock.

A geometric gallery sans with interlocking bowls reads as exhibition signage rather than a corporate logo. The interlock holds at 30 mm on a card, and one fine ink prints the card and the wall text in one order.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 85 x 55 mm, word 30 mm with 8 mm bowl clearance, details 7/9 pt, 8 mm margins. Wall text 600 x 400 mm, word 60 mm, 25 mm margins. Poster A3, word 120 mm, 20 mm margins.
Pre-production check
On an 85 x 55 mm card the interlocked bowls close and the name reads as a single blob. Raise the card word to 36 mm, and check one card before the run.
An interlocking geometric sans turns an art feature into gallery signage. The interlock holds at 48 pt on a coated page, and one fine ink keeps the shared arcs crisp.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Header 48 pt with 8 mm bowl clearance, body 9/13 pt over two columns of 82 mm, 18 mm margins and a 12 mm head. Opener 36 pt with 10 mm of clear ground beside the image. Caption 8/11 pt in a 40 mm outer-margin rail.
Pre-production check
At 36 pt on the opener the shared arc fills and the pair reads as a solid shape. Keep the face at 44 pt and above, and proof one spread at 1:1.
A geometric sans reads as a gallery board rather than a shop sign, which is right for a winter exhibition. The interlock holds at 90 mm on a board, and one ink prints the board and the price cards in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Board 600 x 900 mm, word 100 mm with 12 mm bowl clearance, items 26 mm, 30 mm margins. Price card 105 x 75 mm, item 18 mm, price 24 mm. Bag print 200 x 250 mm, word 50 mm, 15 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 105 x 75 mm price card at 18 mm closes the bowls and the item reads as a bar in low winter light. Raise the item to 24 mm, and check one card in the actual light.
