Visual anatomy & craft review
Easter Bunny is a puffy glossy cartoon bubble display: inflated rounded letters with a bright specular highlight on the upper left, a soft inner shade and a small ear or tail motif attached to a few characters. The gloss is drawn as bare paper, so it disappears on tinted stock, and the puffy stems close their counters early. It needs roughly 30 mm for the highlight and the motif to read, and it is best in two bright inks on white, or one ink plus the knocked-out highlight on coloured card.

A puffy glossy display announces spring in the lettering, so the card needs no printed bunny. The highlight gives the word its sheen at 30 mm, and two bright inks print the card, the signs and the labels in one pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Card 105 x 148 mm, word 30 mm with 8 mm motif clearance, message 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Hunt sign 400 x 300 mm, word 70 mm, 20 mm margins. Bag label 80 x 50 mm, word 14 mm, 5 mm margins.
Pre-production check
A 80 x 50 mm bag label at 14 mm fills the highlight and the word reads as a plain bubble. Raise the label word to 20 mm, and print one label before the batch.
A glossy bubble display reads as party balloons rather than a typeset card, which is what a young child's birthday sends. The puffy shapes cut cleanly at 44 mm, and two inks print the invite and the banner from one file.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Invite A6, word 44 mm with 8 mm motif clearance, details 8/11 pt, 12 mm margins. Topper 130 x 110 mm, word 46 mm with a 6 mm stick slot and 12 mm clear. Banner 1500 x 400 mm, word 150 mm, 30 mm safe edge.
Pre-production check
A 130 mm laser-cut topper drops the 0.8 mm highlight island and it falls out, leaving a hole in the letter. Cut toppers from the plain bubble, and test one before the set.
A glossy bubble display gives a seasonal page the look of its own cover gift rather than a styled masthead. The highlight holds at 44 pt against illustration, and one ink plus paper supplies the gloss in a single pass.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Header 44 pt with 8 mm motif clearance, body 10/14 pt, 18 mm margins. Cover flash 90 x 60 mm, word 32 pt, 6 mm margins. Activity title 30 pt with 8 mm above.
Pre-production check
At 30 pt on the activity title the highlight closes and the letters read as plain ovals. Keep the face at 40 pt and above, and proof one page at 1:1.
