of Christmas Moire.
Christmas Moire is a retro holiday display serif with teardrop swashes: heavy bracketed stems, a soft bulbous weight, teardrop-shaped terminals that swell at the end of a stroke and a swash that lifts off the last letter in a curve. The teardrops are the design and they merge with the stem when the face is reduced. It needs roughly 30 mm for the teardrop and the swash to read, and it is best in two warm inks on cream, or one fine gold on a dark ground where the teardrops print as bright points.
