Heavy decorative serif with curled terminals and a high contrast
Bravyno is a heavy decorative serif in which the terminals curl into small hooks, the contrast runs high and the bowls close to small counters, so a single word reads as a Victorian shop sign.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The B keeps a tall frame with a hooked upper terminal, the r carries a curled arm, the a closes a small bowl, the y drops a hooked descender and the n keeps a heavy shoulder, all at a heavy weight with fine bracketed serifs and a high contrast. The curl is the character: every open terminal turns, which is what gives the face its period register at 60 pt and what fails first when it is printed small. The counters are small, so 20 pt is the practical floor. The aged paper ground, the dark ink, the corner ornaments, the engraving and the small caption are presentation; the serif is the word shown.

The curled serifs give a label the look of a printed period wrapper, and the heavy stems still read at 14 pt on a coated label.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 70 by 50 mm coated label: set the brand at 14 pt, set the weight in a 6 pt caps serif beneath, and keep 5 mm of margin so the hooked terminals are not cut by the label corner.
Pre-production check
A small counter in a heavy serif closes below 14 pt; check the printed label and keep the brand above that size rather than thinning the stems.
The decorative weight reads at 11 cm on a painted board, and the curls give a period venue a sign that looks lettered rather than printed.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Paint a 700 by 400 mm board: set the greeting at 11 cm, set the names in a 4 cm caps serif beneath, and leave 9 cm of border so the hooked terminals stay clear of the frame edge.
Pre-production check
A hooked terminal painted small reads as a blob; check one letter at full size and simplify the hook rather than the stem.
The Victorian register suits a history feature at 64 pt, and the high contrast gives the page weight without a bold sans.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print an A4 spread: set the title at 64 pt across the left page, set the standfirst in a 10 pt serif at 14 pt leading, and hold 16 mm below the title so the hooked descender clears the text column.
Pre-production check
A heavy serif with high contrast can look grey at small sizes; check the spread and keep the title on coated stock if the press allows it.
