Solid and outline athletic capitals with chamfered corners and squared slabs
Ab Sporty is an athletic capital alphabet supplied in a solid and an outline version, built on a squared skeleton with chamfered corners and heavy slabs, so a two-layer team design comes from one family.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The letters are wide and blocky: the S reverses through flat terminals, the P holds a deep squared bowl, the O closes a near-rectangle and the T carries a wide flat arm, with slabs at every stem and corners cut at a small chamfer rather than rounded. The solid version fills the whole shape, and the outline version traces the same skeleton so the two can be layered for a two-colour print or a stitch-out without redrawing. Weight in the solid is maximal, counters are narrow rectangles and the fit is tight enough that a long team name holds one line. The pale wood ground, the black and white fills, the format strip and the handwritten studio signature are presentation; the typeface is the words and the alphabet below them.

The solid and outline pair lets a jacket design carry a layered two-colour name from one family, and the chamfered blocks read at a distance.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the team name in the outline at 90 mm across a 280 mm back panel, layer the solid inside at 80 mm, and keep 30 mm from the shoulder seam so both layers stay on the panel.
Pre-production check
Chenille patches blunt a chamfer under 3 mm; check the artwork at full size and simplify the corners rather than shrinking the letters.
The block weight reads from across a hall and the outline layer gives a wall sign depth without a second font or a drop shadow.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the school name at 25 cm on a 3 m banner, keep the season line in a plain sans at 6 cm, and hold 20 cm of margin so the widest letters are not cut by the hem.
Pre-production check
Vinyl outlines under 4 mm are hard to register by hand; check the cut file and increase the outline width rather than the letter size.
The athletic construction suits a gym or teamwear label, and the two versions let the same mark work as a filled logo and as an outline for embroidery.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Set the brand at 14 pt on a 50 mm woven label, use the solid for the front and the outline for the inside, and keep 5 mm from the stitched border on both.
Pre-production check
Embroidery fills a narrow counter on a solid block; check a stitch-out on the actual label fabric and open the counters before the run.
