MOMAT THIRTYONE writes pixel lettering. Pixel Jester and Pixel Friendship both build letters from small squares, and the five releases are aimed at game graphics, retro digital work and cross-stitch patterns.
Before you buy from this studio
Pixel faces magnify cleanly but demand whole-pixel placement. Keep the artwork size on a grid or the squares blur together.
Pixel outline display with a stepped shadow
Pixel Jester is a pixel outline display in red and black on a watercolour splash: capitals drawn as a stepped outline with the paper showing through, each letter shadowed by a black pixel offset, with a solid line beneath in the same face.
Chunky pixel display with colour blocks
Pixel Friendship is a chunky pixel display in multicolour: every capital is a solid block of one colour with stepped pixel corners, a darker shadow block offset behind it, and mixed letter heights, so the words read as an old arcade title screen.

Pixel display with stepped outlines

Pixel display in three flat colours
Pixel Joyjolt is a pixel display face in blue, yellow and green on a soft painted ground: chunky capitals assembled from square pixels with a fine white keyline, set as two stacked lines with a small black line beneath.

Pixel slab display
Pixel Whimsy is a pixel slab display in bright green and magenta on a pale speckled ground: letters built from square modules with slab-like feet, stepped curves and a dark pixel shadow, with a caption in a small pixel face below, so the plate reads as an arcade scoreboard.
