Modern serif with stretched details
Wolmer is a modern serif in white over a photograph of tulips: extreme thin-thick contrast, wide letters with stretched details, a leg that reaches past the stem on the R and an arm that runs out on the E, with a small capital line beneath.

Visual anatomy & craft review
The word is set on one line across a soft photograph of flowers, and the face is a modern serif with a few deliberate oddities: the contrast runs from heavy stems to hairlines, the serifs are fine and flat, the W is wide and splayed, the R throws a leg that extends past the bowl and curls, the E carries an arm that runs out beyond the letter, and the r finishes with a pointed stroke. Those extensions are what separate the face from a standard didone, and they are restrained enough to keep the word readable. The letters are spaced widely so the photograph shows between them, and the hairlines are thin enough that the word reads as a texture of light and dark at large size. A small capital line beneath names the style and the studio, with two tiny credits in the lower corners. Wolmer is a serif for editorial titles, luxury packaging, invitations and branding, and it needs a wide measure and a quiet image behind it.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Wolmer’s stroke geometry.
A modern serif with one stretched detail gives a masthead a signature, and the wide fit lets a title sit over a photograph without a panel.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 230 by 300 mm cover: set the masthead at 110 pt on one line, keep 28 mm of clear ground beneath before the coverlines at 10 pt, and hold 16 mm of margin at the top and sides.
Pre-production check
Hairlines over a soft photograph can vanish; proof one cover at the final size and check the thinnest joins.
A modern serif gives a small bottle the presence of a premium object, and the stretched arm gives a short name a mark of its own.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 40 by 70 mm bottle label: set the name at 12 pt on one line, keep 4 mm of clear ground beneath before the volume at 3.5 pt, and hold 3 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
A hairline serif on a curved label will distort at the ends; print one on the real bottle and check the joins.
A modern serif suits a wedding that avoids ornament entirely, and the wide spacing lets two long names share one line without crowding.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 190 mm card: set the names at 24 pt on one line, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the details at 8 pt, and hold 14 mm of margin on all four sides.
Pre-production check
Hot foil bridges a hairline; order one foil proof on the intended card before approving the suite.
