Letterform structure
of Wicked Mindset.
The two words are stacked and each letter is a fat rounded form: the strokes are even, the corners are soft, and the hearts in the counters decorate three letters without breaking the word. The white contour and the offset shadow give the block its cut-paper depth, and the bounce keeps the pair from reading as a rigid stack. Because the shapes are fat and the counters small, the face works at sticker and poster size, and the specimen sets it large on a plain cream ground so the colours do the work. The sparkles at the sides are the only other element, and the palette is a fixed set of six colours applied per letter, which is a decision a buyer should keep consistent across a set.
