Beach-collage block display
Summer is a novelty display on a painted beach scene: tall block capitals with cream outlines and keylines, filled with diagonal colour panels and inset photographs of beach objects — dolphins, sunglasses, ice cream, sandcastles — with a wooden sign at the top and a badge at the lower left.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
The plate is a full illustration rather than a specimen, and the letters are containers: each block has a thick cream outline, a diagonal split between two colour panels, and small inset objects placed inside the fill. That construction sets a large size floor, because the inset objects and the keylines close when the letters shrink, and the plate sets the word large enough that each inset is recognisable. The beach around it is staging that names the season, and the wooden sign and the badge are product furniture. Because the fill is photographic, the face is really a set of decorated blocks for a shirt, a sign or a party card rather than a typographic system, and a buyer should expect to print it at display size only.

A collage display sets a beach theme in the lettering, and the heavy outlines keep each block separate on a busy wall. The theme lands before anyone reads a word.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A2 print: the greeting at 90 mm cap height, the time at 20 mm, and the address at 10 mm. Keep 28 mm margins and print four colours on a light stock. Leave 30 mm under the address for the gate line.
Pre-production check
Check the A2 at four metres, where an inset can blur; keep each object above 8 mm. Confirm the 10 mm address reads at arm's length and that the outlines stay closed.
A collage block face prints as a costume piece, and the outlines keep the blocks legible on a coloured shirt. A costume shirt carries the season on its own.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 250 mm chest graphic: the slogan at 55 mm cap height, the year at 26 mm, and four inks on a light shirt. Keep the smallest inset at 5 mm and place the graphic 80 mm below the collar.
Pre-production check
Check the screen at actual mesh, where a 5 mm inset can fill; enlarge it. Wash-test one shirt and confirm the keylines stay closed after five cycles.
A beach collage carries the theme on a card without a photograph, and the strong outlines print at home without a registration issue.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
A6 card: the greeting at 26 pt, the details in a 9.5 pt sans, and the time at 8.5 pt. Keep 15 mm margins and print four colours on a white card. Leave 14 mm at the foot for the address line.
Pre-production check
Check the 26 pt greeting at home-print resolution, where an inset can merge; keep the smallest at 1.5 mm. Confirm the 9.5 pt details keep a 4.5:1 contrast and that the card folds flat.
