High-contrast serif capitals accented by fine multi-ray sparkles on selected strokes
Starlight is a high-contrast serif display face in which a four-point star is cut out of the counters and set across the stems, so a word appears to have light shining through the letters.

Sturdy stroke walls and open counters weed cleanly on adhesive vinyl, HTV apparel film, and cut cardstock.
Visual anatomy & craft review
STARLIGHT spans the card in white over a dark blue ground with a soft horizon glow, and the letterforms are a tall display roman with fine hairlines and sharp serifs. Each letter carries at least one star: a four-point sparkle in the counter of the A, a small one on the stem of the R, a pair on the H. The stars are cut rather than added, so they read as holes in the letter, and the spacing is generous enough that the star shapes do not crowd the word. A caption at the foot names the set in small spaced caps. The face is a title cut for covers, invitations and signage, and the practical limit is size: the star cut-outs are the smallest feature, so they fill in first on cheap stock or at a small reproduction, and a proof at the final size is essential.

Concrete hierarchy, scale and production guidance tailored to Starlight’s stroke geometry.
The cut stars carry the season without a printed sky, and a white title on a dark cover reads as a premium programme beside a plain sans.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 148 by 210 mm programme: set the concert title at 56 pt across one row, keep 24 mm of clear ground beneath before the ensemble line at 10 pt, and hold 16 mm from the widest letter to the trim.
Pre-production check
Star cut-outs fill in on uncoated paper; print one programme on the intended stock and check the counter of the A first.
The stars give a formal card a little light without a drawn ornament, and the thin serifs keep two names on one line at a modest size.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 130 by 180 mm invitation: set the names at 26 pt on one row, keep 20 mm of clear ground beneath before the venue at 9 pt, and hold 15 mm of margin from the widest letter to the card edge.
Pre-production check
Thin hairlines vanish in letterpress; print one invitation in the intended process and check the stars before the suite.
The star cut-outs read as bubbles and light on a bottle, and one word in this face does the decoration a label would otherwise need imagery for.
Hierarchy & layout recipe
Print a 60 by 100 mm label: set the cuvée name at 20 pt on one row, keep 8 mm of clear ground beneath before the volume at 4.5 pt, and hold 6 mm from the letter edge to the die line.
Pre-production check
Curved labels stretch the hairlines; print one label and roll it onto the bottle before the run.
